Tanner's 12 year old trip to CA

Sydney & Tanner are two very lucky kids, just look at those grandparents who love them! They spent President's Day weekend in CA for their 12 year old trip.

The nice thing was that the moms got to crash this party and head down too!

The real reason for the 12 year olds was to go to the temple for baptisms of family names.

We spent Saturday at the LA Temple and had a wonderful time.

On Monday we went to Santa Monica and played on the swings...

and the famous pier.

We rode these great bumper cars, that are really more like bumper boats on wheels. We had a fantastic time. Our weekend was amazing, thanks mom & dad!

Valentine's Day

Zane helped pass out 4700 pink cookies on Valentine's Day and did it in style!

Max goes sledding!

We had a storm on Sunday & so Monday right after school we raced out to take Max sledding at Rock Canyon Park.

As you can see, the snow was pretty well sledded out!

I wore my Olympic jacket to commemorate 10 years since I volunteered for the 2002 Olympics in SLC and there was a fun surprise for me on the hill...

To my delight this is what we found at the park, in Russian it says, "Ivan was here". (Funny because writing in big letters proved to be a problem, his "I" is backwards) Who knew there was a Russian around graffitiing(is that a word?) my neighborhood?

As you can see, the 3 of us had a great hour and they both hitched a ride back on the sled!

Sunday stinks, poor Max!

No, he's not looking for a lost green bean.

He has fallen asleep twice now at dinner thanks to our 1-4pm church schedule!

Porter is in Woods 2 and has concurrent enrollment at UVU for this class. Doesn't this look like something worthy of college credit? It is beautifully done & I am so pleased. He & Bryce brought it home during lunch last week. They moved my groceries off of the island, placed the new top, and replaced the groceries and waited for me to notice. I was so pleasantly surprised! I love it! Now, I'm itching to paint the island!
