A birthday weekend!

I guess when it's your golden birthday you get a lot of extras... 16 presents...

16 gold dollars...

and a fantastic night up at the Lund's cabin in Deer Valley.

OK, a large group of us benefitted from that! We spent Saturday skiing in fantastic spring like weather with great snow (even if it was all man-made!)

Porter is 16!

I picked him up at lunch for a quick trip to the DMV on this his "Golden Birthday"! Mark met us for lunch after he had washed the flamed surburban, thinking that Porter would love to return to school as an independent. We always have good intentions, but lunch at Cafe Rio had a huge line and when he got into the suburban for his first drive, it wouldn't start. So, you can still find the flame car in this parking lot and Porter has yet to drive today, even though he is licensed! Comedy!
